up in sports. there is breaking news tonight, the body of one of two fishermen who went missing yesterday morning was discovered tonight by his family who were searching. no word on which fisherman was found near pigeon point south of half moon bay. this is video of the boat. it capsized by a large wave on sunday after leaving the marina. the boat washed ashore and got stuck on these rocks. four men were on board, two were wearing life jackets, they swam to shore, the other two went missing. the coast guard suspended their such but family continued to search and they found the body about 6:30 p.m. tonight. tonight the albany middle school school teacher accused of molesting a student is dead, it appears james izumizaki took

his life. kron 4's jr spent the afternoon at albany middle school. >> reporter: a very emotional day at albany middle school right here. james izumizaki was not only a math teacher but a coach and someone involved with student government. i saw teachers who were in tears this afternoon and came across students who were speechless. students called him mr. i. he was accused of a inproperty relationship -- improper relationship with a student. even with the accusations, those i talked with stud up for him. >> the district called her mom and she told me he died. he killed himself. >> first thing i did was went to my room and cried. i mean, my friend called me around 3:30 p.m. and when i got the news i

didn't believe it. >> i feel everyone has their own opinion about it. some people think he did, some don't, some people love him. >> i look back on those days, i think what could i have done to be a better friend to him. >> i think everyone is depressed right now, he was a great teacher. most people had him, people keep saying he was the best math teacher. >> reporter: those from the school district will speak tuesday morning about james izumizaki. as for the circumstances behind the mullitation police haven't said. jr stone, kron 4 news. >> deputy cans found his body in a car about 10:30 a.m. this morning. he explains the scene that investigators found and what led them to believe it was a suicide. >> when the officers got here they found a person who had

case. >> officials learned of the misconduct by james izumizaki last monday. officials placed him on leave that day and then on wednesday police arrested him and started investigating the allegations. the teacher was released on bail after being booked into jail. no charges had yet been filed. stay with kron 4 news as we continue to follow developments. the trial starts for the woman accused of killing a nursing student, prosecutors say giselle esteban stocked and murdered michelle le. all because giselle esteban blamed the victim for ruining her relationship with her baby's father. michelle le disappeared in may of 2011. her body was found months later. kron 4's haaziq madyun was in court where giselle esteban faced murder charges. >> reporter: jealousy turns to hatred and rage, that is how

the prosecution described giselle esteban here at the courthouse in oakland. 2 dozen people filled the courtroom, including members of michelle le's family, some who became shaken when photos of the bones were shown to the jury. the prosecution found dna evidence belonging to o.j. on michelle le -- belonging to giselle esteban on michelle le's car and threatsenning text -- threatening text messages from giselle esteban. haaziq madyun, kron 4 news. we want to talk about this hot weather, it was hot all over the bay area today. it is warm tonight but more hot weather is due tomorrow. >> if you didn't like today you are probably not going to like tomorrow. it was hot today and we have similar temperatures tomorrow. today we saw lot of 90s out

there. triple digits in places like santa rosa, 101. 100 in livermore. we didn't set record high temperatures for this day but it was hot from the inland to the north bay and close to the coast line. 90 degrees in san francisco today. 82 in half moon bay. 81 daily city. 90s through the peninsula and bay shore locations, same in the south bay and same for tomorrow. we will have more coming up. an amtrak train carrying 169 passengers from oakland to bakersfield derailed when a big rig collided with the train. two cars were pushed in the crash, causing the train to run off the tracks. it traveled 600 feet before coming to a stop. authorities say 20 passengers suffered miner to moderate injuries such as scrapes and

new tonight at 11:00 p.m. a man was injured in a shooting tonight in san francisco. police responded to reports of shot fired in the block of broad street. the officer said when officers responded to the area they found evidence there had been an injury shooting and they locked down the area. later a man arrived at the hospital suffering from a gun shot wound. according to the officer. police are continuing to investigate the shooting. and a man was injured in a shooting earlier today at san

francisco -- no. we want to move on. a judge suspended the proceedings against a suspect in the oikos university shooting. one goh's lawyer questioned his mental competency to stand trial. they will report their findings next week. he is accused of killing 7 people at oikos university. he has been charged with 7 counts of murder and three counts of attempted murder. he is being held without bail. nearly 11:15 p.m. and temperatures are still in the 80s in the bay area. i will show you how warm it will get tomorrow, coming up.

the partying tonight who went home and who kept going. but great, great night for the a's. the giants tried to eliminate the dodgers tonight. holding on to a slim chance to get into the post season. buster posey .336. mccutchen. buster unless he goes crazy will be the batting champion and herrera, 2-2, bases loaded, dodgers win 3-2. their 6th straight win. they are watching st. louis play cincinnati and if st. louis lose two more then the dodgers tie them for a playoff spot. they would have to have their own playoff. the giants this weekend plays cincinnati or washington, whoever has the poorer record.

right now they both have 96 wins. the national clinch tonight because atlanta loss so the national clinch their first title since 2005. they had a loss, but then again it was party time swell. individually, one of the great stories, miguel cabrera, hasn't happened since 1967, four hits tonight, takes over the lead with 44 home runs. leads the american league in home runs, batting average and runs batted in. the last guy to do that, 1967. tigers beat the royals and cabrera has to rock steady the final two games and he will be a part of history. monday night football, dallas wasn't good. 14-12 since the stadium was built. cutler finds hester for the
